Visual Design Journey is published and operated by [YOUR LEGAL NAME], Germany ("we", "us", the "Seller"). By using this website and any paid membership or sponsorship, you enter into a contract with the Seller.

By continuing to use the service — browsing the archive, purchasing a Premium membership, or purchasing a Partner sponsorship — you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Visual Design Journey is an independent editorial archive of graphic design, typography, visual identity, design movements, and visual culture, including articles, films, and reference material. Premium membership provides members-only articles, full archive access, and an ad-free reading experience. Partner sponsorship provides promotional placement as described at the time of purchase.

You must not misuse the service. In particular, you must not:

• use the service for any unlawful purpose, fraud, or spam;
• infringe intellectual property rights of the Seller or third parties;
• interfere with the security or operation of the service, including introducing malware, probing, or scraping the archive at scale;
• reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the service or its content, or circumvent technical limits of your plan.

The Seller retains all ownership of the service and its intellectual property, including the editorial content, software, documentation, and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the service within your selected plan. Third-party works shown in the archive remain the property of their respective rights holders and are presented for editorial and educational purposes.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms: paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms. Subscriptions renew automatically at the selected interval (monthly or yearly) until cancelled. If you cancel, your access continues until the end of the paid period. Plan changes take effect at the next renewal.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance of the service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim, and we exclude liability for indirect, consequential, or special damages (including loss of profits, data, or goodwill). Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where such limitation is not permitted by law.

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. When access ends, your right to use members-only content ends with it.

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany. If you are a consumer, mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence remain unaffected.
